Description
What beautiful flowers on this 5′ tall and wide evergreen rhododendron. Bright magenta petals are marked by a vivid yellow-green eye on the upper petal. This eye slowly takes on red markings as the flower ages. It is altogether cheerful against the deep green leaves. A hybrid of R. ‘Anah Kruschke’ and R. ‘Purple Splendour’. Full to part sun. Best with afternoon shade, even moisture, and well-drained acidic soil.
