Description
Lilium hansonii A species lily from the floristically rich mountains of Japan. This species grows to around three or four feet in height with racemes of nodding open flowers of bright yellow-orange with small spots in early summer. The strongly recurved tepals are very thick and fleshy – a really beautiful flower. The narrow leaves are arranged in whorls around the stems for a very symmetrical and distinctive appearance.
