Connecting kids and plants
The Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden (RSBG) is a 22-acre space for kids of every age to play, explore, and learn. With miles of woodland trails to discover, the garden is a giant classroom for budding naturalists. Teeming with wildlife and an extensive plant collection, the RSBG will spark curiosity, wonder, and an interest in the natural world. Popular garden features for children include the Pond, Rutherford Conservatory, Victorian Stumpery, and Gazebo. The RSBG is committed to making the garden an educational resource for local students. We offer free facilitated student tours year-round. Check out our Tours page for more information and to request a tour.
Note: The RSBG asks that all tours are booked at least 3 weeks in advance.
