Description
Coptis laciniata SEH# The cutleaf goldthread is a charming evergreen perennial native to the mountains of the Pacific NW. This slowly creeping groundcover spreads by means of bright yellow rhizomes – hence the common name. The finely cut, glossy and leathery foliage rises to only a couple of inches from the ground and the delicate flowers have narrow “threadlike” petals and are not particularly showy, but this is a beautiful small-scale groundcover. Best in woodland conditions. Our first offering. My collection from the northernmost known population which was a new record for that county in central Washington. (-10) RSBG $14.00-B
