___ tschonoskii A rarely cultivated azalea native to Korea, Japan and adjacent regions of the Kamchatka Peninsula. This is a very distinct almost deciduous species with colorful autumn foliage and very small white flowers in early summer. It is very cold tolerant and has a dense and compact habit.
