Description
Rhododendron viridescens ‘Doshong La’ KW#5829 Compact and upright evergreen shrubs with bristly branches. The delicate obovate leaves are bright blue-green and often have bristles on the margins. The widely flaring, funnel bell-shaped flowers (early to mid-summer) are yellow with greenish spots. An unusual but attractive late-blooming species with beautiful foliage. Yellow flowers with rose tips and olive-green flecks in this 1972 Award of Merit form. (0R13) RSBG#1974/111
