Description
Shortia uniflora Grandiflora Rosea Our first offering of this very rarely offered and choice small-scale evergreen sub-shrub. This forms a clump of glossy rounded leaves with scalloped margins. Arising from the attractive foliage in mid-spring are erect stalks to a few inches high. Each of these bears hanging bells of clear pink with fringed margins – absolutely stunning. Very slow-growing and difficult to propagate so rarely offered for sale – anywhere. Best in light shade in a moist but well-drained soil. This is a selected form from its native Japan with larger flowers than typical. (10) RSBG $44.00-B LIMIT ONE PER ORDER
