Description
Rhododendron augustinii ssp. augustinii ‘Playfair’ Large, upright evergreen shrubs with masses of beautiful flowers in mid-spring. This selection has large deep blue-purple flowers with a large greenish blotch and is one of the last forms of this variable species to flower in spring. Easily grown in sun or shade and very floriferous. Great with white and pink flowered rhododendrons. Our first offering of this outstanding selection. (0R16) RSBG
