Description
Rhododendron amagianum A large deciduous azalea with unusual and attractive ovate-diamond shaped leaves on a beautifully, structurally layered plant. Reddish-orange flowers in early summer. Rarely offered, this species, native to Japan, is a great choice for areas with hot summers, also fine in the Pacific Northwest. Sun or light shade. These are grown from seed collected wild in Japan.
