This year’s theme is “RSF Golden Anniversary.”
The Evening in the Garden is held annually to celebrate our wonderful members and volunteers, who are the very heart of our organization.
Enjoy the live music of classical guitarist, Leon Christian, as you sip a glass of wine on the Terrace. Then stroll through the Garden and Conservatory on the ever-popular guided tours by Steve and Dennis.
Prepared live on sizzling grills, the golden Paella Party will be catered by Café Pacific. Café Pacific’s traditional Paella is prepared with authentic ’Bomba’ rice from Spain, real Saffron threads and plenty of savory meats and fresh seasonal vegetables. Enjoy the fun and heavenly aroma of this savory gluten free dish prepared either in the vegetarian option or with savory meats.
Those members and guests who attend the Evening in the Garden have the unique opportunity to bid on rare and choice plants in the “Live Auction for Intern Funding.” Some of these choice plants are not available for sale in any other way. The RSBG Summer Intern Program provides an extremely valuable source of assistance for our small staff. The amount of funding that we have for this program dictates how many hours and how long we are able to employ an intern. Plan to bid often and bid well!
The Evening in the Garden is a highlight of the year for our members and volunteers and we hope to see you here. Registration is required and is open only to members, volunteers and their guests.
