Description

Rhododendron ririei SEH#115 A choice large shrub with the earliest flowers of any elepidote, often blooming for us in February. These are cutting-grown from plants representing the first re-introduction of this rare wild species. Paler lavender to flushed pinkish flowers with darker nectar pouches. Best in light shade. Quite different from the typical purple-mauve forms most often seen in collections but still quite lovely. (0\R1\6) RSBG
