Description
Rhododendron ferrugineum The "Alpenrose" of song and legend. This is a dwarf species native to the high mountains of southern Europe. A mounding habit and glossy green leaves highlight the bright pink flowers in early summer. Best in a sunny but cool site (morning sun best). These are grown from seed collected in the wild.
