Rhododendron cuffeanum KW#21909 One of the rarest maddenias in cultivation, this was collected only once in the wild. Found by Frank Kingdon-Ward on the isolated Mt. Victoria in Burma where it appears to be endemic, this plant has not been seen in the wild since that time. Our first offering of this species which features glossy foliage and very large, pure white flowers with a strong golden blotch. (+10?R26) RSBG#2001/148
