Description

Rounded evergreen shrubs with glandular-sticky new growth and more or less bristly stems. A beautiful foliage plant, this species has shiny dark green leaves with deeply impressed veins. The lower leaf surface is covered with a distinct yellowish to yellow-brown or tan indumentum. The bell-shaped flowers are white to pink or rose, often striped pink with a darker blotch and/or spots. A fine woodland species, best in light shade.
