Description
Rhododendron coryanum KW#6311 'Chelsea Chimes' A rare species with long narrow leaves that forms a large shrub or small tree. The white flowers with red flecks are not the largest in the genus but are abundantly produced in mid-spring. Probably best in the woodland garden. Quite rare in the wild, I have seen it only once in all my travels. Our first offering in many years - this is an Award of Merit form (1979). (0R14) RSBG#1999/359
