Description

Rhododendron augustinii ssp. augustinii JN#12352 One of the finest and most popular of all species, with masses of attractive flowers ranging in color from blue-purple (the norm) to rose-pink and white. These are grown from seed collected in the wild from a population of plants with smaller leaves growing in a sunny drier habitat at what is probably the southern limit of the species. Easily grown in sun or shade and very floriferous. Great with white and pink flowered rhododendrons. (0\R1\6) RSBG#389sd2013
