Description
Iris forrestii CRS#12025 A beautiful species from the mountains of SW China. This species differs from all its close relatives in having bright yellow flowers instead of the normal purple or blue. These flowers appear in early summer and are attractively marked with reddish-brown streaks. From seed collected in the wild, this species is rarely seen in cultivation. NOTE: in the past we mistakenly sold this collection as its much more common close relative Iris chrysographes which is the name under which it was received. RSBG#142sd2007 (-10)
