Description

A more compact version of the oak leaf hydrangea, growing to 3-4 feet high and wide. These are robust and hardy plants compared to other hydrangeas and are happy in full sun and even tolerant of short periods of drought, though they do best with regular summer water. Full sun settings afford the best fall color, which can be stunning. Big panicles of flowers start white and fade to pink through summer. A wonderful plant.
