The Greater Federal Way Chamber will honor three businesses with Impact Awards as part of its annual Gala from 6-8 p.m., November 18.
Federal Way, WA – The Rhody Garden, as it’s affectionately known, will receive the Chamber’s long-running and prestigious Community Impact Award this fall, during the Chamber’s annual Gala at Woodbridge Corporate Park from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. November 18.
Café Pacific Catering will receive the Business Impact Award, and La Quinta Inn & Suites, Seattle-Federal Way will receive the Regional Impact Award.
“As we mark the 70th year of the Chamber, we recognize the many decades of business leadership our members continue to bring to our community,” said Chamber CEO Rebecca Martin.
Chosen by the Chamber, The Community Impact Award recognizes leadership which serves as a model of inspiration in personal, professional and volunteer efforts; a track-record of community enhancement through projects or business concerns designed to make a difference; and service to the community- personal and professional.
“Our staff and members have a strong desire to contribute back to the community,” said Grace Pham, Chief Business Officer. “We really appreciate this recognition from the Chamber”.
The Rhody Garden hosts fun and educational events throughout the year, partners with public service agencies, the arts community and more to serve the Pacific Northwest region and beyond. Its mission of conservation, research, acquisition, evaluation, cultivation, public display, and distribution of Rhododendron species is supported by its members, visitors, and its onsite plant nursery.
