“Ever since I can remember, I have been attracted to rare and unique botanicals. Being detailed oriented, I am captivated by the extraordinary colors, alien shapes and unique patterns of plants. I travel to many places, including my own woodland garden to find intriguing, sometimes amusing plants. Much as you might go to a professional photographer for a portrait setting, I do the same for plants. Multiple exposures are used to accentuate every detail of the plant. Then I extract the background to eliminate distractions. My images are a learning experience for many, revealing the true beauty and bizarreness of the plant world. “
