___ Hydrangea radiata H&J#22035 This is a close relative of H. arborescens, differing primarily in the bright white, felted indumentum coating the lower surface of each leaf. A stunning foliage plant, especially when planted in a position where the flashy white leaf undersurfaces can be highlighted. These are grown from seed collected in the wild in the southern Appalachians. Protect from hot afternoon sun in most climates. Like any hydrangea, these can be cut back to reduce overall size.
