Description
sia angustissima SEH#15123 Our first offering of this hardy evergreen fern with softly hairy and entire (not ferny) linear foliage. This is a slowly spreading species with elongating rhizomes that will form a small-scale ground cover with time. The fronds are very narrowly linear (almost grasslike) and less than one-quarter inch wide and three to four inches long. This species is native throughout much of China and into Taiwan, Japan and Thailand where it occurs on shaded and moist rock faces and as an epiphyte. A great specimen for container gardening, rarely available anywhere. My collection from SE Asia. (0?) RSBG
