Rhododendron calophytum var. calophytum CDHM#14640 One of the "big-leaved " species with leaves up to one foot in length. A magnificent foliage plant with equally impressive flowers (early spring) that range from white to rose pink or white and pink candy-striped and are borne in a large showy inflorescence - usually with purple flecks and a basal blotch.
