Description

Rhododendron thayerianum A very distinct species with long and very narrow, stiff and rigid leaves which are "canoe-shaped " in cross section. A stunning plant for foliage effect with the bonus of white flushed pink flowers in early summer, long after the main burst of spring bloom. Worth growing for its subtropical appearing foliage alone. A rarely offered, cold tolerant and completely unmistakable species. (10R14) RSBG#1966/605
