Description
Rhododendron tephropeplum A dwarf mounding species with dark green scaly leaves, smooth and peeling brown bark and masses of purplish to rose or pink flowers. The new growth emerges a striking deep rose-purple with silvery scales. A beautiful species for sun or light shade with very attractive foliage, bark and flowers. This was considered the "hardiest form" in our original collection. One of my favorites. (+5R23) RSBG#1975/162
