Description
One of two Washington native larches, these large deciduous conifers light up golden-yellow in autumn before the needles fall off for winter. In spring, foliage emerges lime green and retains a hint of light green through the summer. These are very fast growing when young and can reach 60 feet or more, so are best for a large yard or garden. Plant in full sun and give regular summer water while young. One of the most beautiful trees in autumn.
