Description
A compact deciduous shrub with alder-like leaves. The masses of fragrant dark pink flowers in mid-summer are held on long spikes and kind of exotic looking. Requires consistantly moist soil so regular watering is a must in most settings. Full to part sun. A lovely and worthy garden plant.
