Description
A bold plant for a sunny pond edge or moist woodland. The foliage and size of these robust plants demand attention. The large dark green leaves have a hint of bronze to them and are heavily textured with deeply impressed veins and serrated margins. Puffs of airy cream-white to rose flowers on loose panicles (reaching 4') hang languidly above the leaves. Requires consistently moist soils, more so if planted in full sun. They can also tolerate shade. Deciduous.
