Description
This relatively vigorous Erythronium is one of the better known and commonly grown selections. The flowers are a beautiful pale-yellow color, an uncommon shade that really looks good in against the deep green background of a woodland garden. Large glossy leaves emerge in the spring before the flowers. The flowers and leaves on this bulbaceous ephemeral fade away by the summer, but the yearly spring presence of this great plant is well worth the space given to them. To 1' tall, best in part shade with average to moist, well-drained rich soil.
