___ irroratum ssp. pogonostylum JN#11073 This subspecies differs from its more widely grown relative ssp. irroratum in its deeper pink flowers and in having tomentum on the ovary (but you knew that already). This should have a vigorous and upright but shrubby growth habit and perhaps substantial heat tolerance as it has a more southern natural range than that of ssp. irroratum.
