Description
Rhododendron aureum Prostrate to mounding dwarf shrubs with a creeping habit. Extremely hardy and relatively slow growing - not tolerant of hot and humid summers. The flowers (early spring) vary in color from cream to pale yellow, often with darker spots. A rarely cultivated species that is ideal for the rock garden or a trough.
