Your visit to the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden begins at the Visitor Center. Interpretive panels around the Visitor Center explain the mission of our Garden and tell a few stories of the many worldwide plant hunting adventures of our Director and his colleagues, clearly illustrating that the Garden is “Where the Wild Things Grow!”
Spend a little time shopping and take home a remembrance of the Pacific Northwest. The Visitor Center sells many items that are very local in origin, in addition to our high quality logo wear.
Right out the back door your shopping adventure continues in our Nursery. Some of the plants that you see in the Garden during your visit are available for purchase. The plants here will grow well in our area, and many have been propagated and cultivated in our own production greenhouses.
Your visit helps support the conservation of the rhododendron species.
