Fall for Ferns during the weeklong Foliage Festival at the RSBG! Discover the fascinating world of ferns growing in the RSBG’s woodland gardens and the Hardy Fern Foundation’s Victorian Stumpery.

Richie Steffen will speak at 1 pm on “Ferns You Can’t Live Without.” The world of ferns is large and varied and goes far beyond our hardy natives. Join Richie Steffen, Curator of the Elisabeth C Miller Botanical Garden and President of the Hardy Fern Foundation, as he shares some of his favorites for performance, foliage and flair. Using fronds and plants from the Hardy Fern Foundations extensive collection you see some of the best for our climate and learn how to grow them to perfection.

Join a 2 pm Fern Tour with Jo Laskowski, Curator of the Hardy Fern Foundation, for an insider’s look at the world of ferns growing in the Garden, including the Victorian Stumpery.

Today’s Plant Sale Special: 1/2 off Rhododendron yuefengense plus shop a great collection of rarely offered ferns provided by the Hardy Fern Foundation

The Festival will run from 10 am to 4 pm, Oct. 17th to Oct 24th.
